I AM THE SOUTH M-Da$h DoT aka M-DoT HunT is the FUTURE OF HIP-HOP/RAP MUSIC. Born Marcus A. Hunt, raised in the ever popular racist state of Mississippi moved to Kenner LA at the age of 13 after several run-ins with his peers led to probation and numerous violations due to the surrounds of a community so small there is only one school for the whole county. Where racism is high and ignorance is not only accompanied by foolishness and stupidity it is educational until someone starts shooting. Too much T.V., free time, he say she say and too many wanna bes wanting to be this and that. From an area where there is not enough parenting, no opportunity, no self development and no self growth DoT started rapping at the age of 10, making beats at the age of 17 and persuing a career in Music off and on at the age of 26. Constantly improving his abilities, DoT (as referred to by those close to him) is focused on originality, uniqueness and creativity more than the passing trend, current fad or the many copies that are turning out more ONE HIT WONDERS than the 80s did.
