Along with the success of Slick Salt Entertainment’s highly distinguished artists, Shonie and featured rap artist Nove, their roster continues to increase gradually with their newest addition, London Lanae. While shopping with her mother in the mall, the two coincidentally stumbled into James Jackson, President and CEO of Slick Salt Entertainment. After initiating an amiable conversation, the three embarked on the subject of London Lanae’s talented vocals and passion for stardom.
James immediately took interest in her spunky personality and dainty appearance; but with much anticipation he hoped her vocals met his expectations. Without hesitation, sparked by a rush of adrenaline London began to sing lyrics to one of her favorite song by Beyoncé and at that moment she sang her dream into existence. Within months London was blissfully added to the Slick Salt family.
Still in her adolescent years, this 15 year old diva is a triple threat, with the ability to sing, dance, act and still manage to maintain a 3.8 GPA! London Lanae was born in Miami, Florida and is currently a freshman at Flanagan High School. Her school planner is always engrossed with extracurricular activities, such as the swim team, drama club, school plays, and participating in talent shows. However, her agenda doesn’t stop there! Aside from being signed to Slick Salt Entertainment as a recording solo artist, London has big dreams to pursue other aspects of the entertainment industry as her long-term career goals. “I have a broad range of interests, besides modeling, singing, and acting; sometimes I like to pretend I am a news anchor,” says the talented ball of fire. With strong aspirations to be a singer since the age of four years old, London Lanae always finds time to write lyrics and songs as her method of self-expression. “I write in poem style because I find to be easier, especially since most of my songs are inspired by lost loves,” recalls the teen. While school is still in session London endeavors to balance her homework with her sheets of music; only to leave the classroom to head to the studio for vocal lessons. London manages to successfully accomplish both by using her desire of obtaining a Jaguar or Infiniti, when she attempts to receive her driver’s license next year. In her down time she prefers to relax in her family’s company; but of course, there is never a dull moment, she enjoys reciting monologues for pure entertainment or swimming in her pool with her sister.
London’s leisure time always revolves around improving her abilities as an artist; she is constantly uploading videos of her singing to her YouTube page or MySpace page and interacting with her already established fan base! While striving to reach a prosperous attainment of success like her musical icons Beyoncé and Rihanna, Slick Salt Entertainment has big plans for branding this giggly versatile little girl into a “teen pop star!” In an attempt to prepare the world for her arrival London states, “Recording and releasing my own music is my passion and I have wanted this ever since I was a young girl and I definitely feel I have something to offer.” This “New Era of Entertainment” has delivered greatness to a notable degree once again, but London Lanae is going to provide them with the honor and respect this entertainment company is worthy of.
