- Born in Louisiana and raised in Florida, kprincess (better known as kp for short), is a multi-racial, young professional breaking fresh in the music industry. From starting out as a free-spirited individual/promoter to servicing a site and its members on HitsAMillion.ning.com where her interest in graphic designing sparked to now independently managing artists and producers, and becoming an official blogger for 84area.com, the Area for the Underground.
Although, being a college student, kp still manages to network and build relationships with a vast of well-known music professionals and advisers from her remote location. She is definitely up for any challenging tasks and utilizes her time to gain more knowledge within her field and the music industry to fulfill her clients’ needs. This has been a very exciting adventure for her with no intentions of stopping to gain success.
April 2009, kp teamed up with Gawain "G2" Bracy of G2 Music Group as his personal assistant, handling all of his outside affairs from the record company, as well as his music consultant. Months later, July 2009, the same month G2 signed to Interscope, kp was hired by Babyboi95, the founder of BB95 Music Group & Tay Dizm's Nappy Boy Digital Producer, to do online promotions on personal projects of his. 2009 really started out to be a great year to start her foundation in the music world. It only continues to get better towards the ending of the year and for the future.
kp, later, met an extraordinary artist, songwriter, and producer, in whom she currently manages, named Bobby Drake of The Beat Geeks. The Beat Geeks is a group, founded by himself, that includes two powerful vocalists and songwriters, Luke Galloway and the official Geekette, Karissa Smith. Their originality, musically and image wise, kept her interest to them because they didn’t look nor sound like any current mainstream artists or underground. They weren't following the trend. The Beat Geeks really had a passion & the pride to make good quality music. Currently, kp now manages the group & Bobby Drake, as a producer. Together they work diligently to expose the world of The Beat Geeks music.
Mid-January 2010, the site owner for the blog 84area.com, Sheldon, asked kprincess, if she would like assist in blogging with him on his site. kp without a doubt excepted the offer. She enjoys listening to music and helping up-and-coming/indie artists. So, she figured what the heck why not blog about it. So, she now helps with posting new music, writing reviews and so forth with Sheldon for underground artist along with her other duties.
