(Biography)
Welcome all readers to the myspace page of "The Teen King of Detroit" who is known as Young Jay Reall, the 14 year old rap artist, " Jairell D. Ponder" from Detroit, Michigan. He was born on Detroit’s eastside at Hutzel Hospital September 29, 1993. Until he was 5 years old he and his mother stayed on Detroit’s eastside. When he turned 6 he moved to 6 mile & Greenfield on Detroit’s Westside. At the age of 13 he moved in with his aunt in Southfield and attended Southfield Lathrup High School, and now attends Southfield High.
Young Jay Reall started rapping at the age of ten just messing around with old school rap, and beat boxin. He began a serious endeavor with hip hop at the age of thirteen, recording his first mix tape 313 Prince. 313 Prince included the single's (BETTA STEP BACK) and (BACK UP). Betta Step Back had 2,298 hits on MySpace, while (Back Up) had over 1008 hits on MySpace. Young Jay Reall's debut performance was back on Prevost at his 14th birthday party. That was the same day 313 Prince was released and sold out the first 50 copies to friends and family on the first day.
Young Jay Reall has made several performances since his debut, such as the Hip Hop Mile at Belle Isle, and guest performance for the Mayor of Detroit, including the Future Gallery..
In 2008, Young Jay Reall began working with F*** and Mz Jonz, and is currently working on the next mix tape (TEEN KING OF DETROIT). His first two singles are I GET MONEY (HOOD STAR REMIX) AND (AS SOON AS THE BEAT DROP). I GET MONEY (HOOD STAR REMIX) 842 hits on MySpace, while (AS SOON AS THE BEAT DROP) has 338 hits on MySpace. This will also feature guest appearances from my group Hood Stars, Mz Jonz, and King Gordy. TEEN KING OF DETROIT is set to release in late summer of 2008. This will be his first mix tape to be sold independently.
