About Me

MY God given name is Harry Valentin,but I'm known as" DJ_SHORT_DOGG ".Im32 years old and of PUERTO RICAN descent,raised in the UNITED STATES.Growing up in the FREESTYLE & HIP HOP era,my biggest focus in life was and has been MUSIC,apart from caring for my CHILDREN.I've been blessed to be a 3rd generation "DJ" through my immediate family.MY love for SALSA,MERENGUE,REGGAETON, and now LATIN HIP HOP,has come from my CHILDHOOD upbringing.I was raised by a single ,strong willed PUERTO RICAN mother .she shared the love for music and often displayed it through family gatherings and events.Through these occasions is were i progressed as a "DJ" AND Flourished outwards.I've been working hard for over 15, years sharping my SKILLS and demonstrating my talent amongst the COMMUNITY.I lived in the town of SPRINGFIELD in western part of the states of MASSACHUSETTS.for the past 5 years Ive managed to establish my own music and retail store.MY store is named "THE_DOGG_SHOP_MUSIC_SPOT"and has been in business for 3 years.We are located on State st which is a major byway and intersection in the city...Here is were i get most of my work done.I manage my own recording studio and tend to retail store all in one.When I'm not at the shop I'm in the club and bar scene getting my music out and abroad.I chose to open a music and retail store so that i can home in on all that has to do with the Music and Fashion field.My shop is located across the street from our COMMUNITY COLLEGE (STCC) and a block away from one of three major high schools (High School of Commerce) in the city.I'M amongst many age generations and cater to all.I chose thios location so that my tallent as a "DJ" can be displayed as well as my business sense alike.MUSIC has played a major role in my life and has helped me escape and over come many obstacles.it being that MUSIC is the language of all and many,who are'nt alike.I've done my best to serve my community with the GOD given talent I've been BLESSED with.By bridging the generation gaps,through MUSIC and FASHION,I've managed to help and set forth a better prespective for the future of all our LATIN children,by leading through example.Through hard work and dedication,by providing the universal sound of MUSIC for all to share and appreciate.This is how I've identified MYSELF as a DJ AND LATINO.Keeping the American dream alive for all of my PEOPLE and others to love MUSIC alike..........
