He was born in 1977 in Puerto Rico, moved to New York and relocated to Florida where he started djing at the juvenile age of 14 and found his home base years later in Tampa. Rico Sanchez quickly gain recognition in the Florida nightclub scene, playing everywhere from intimate lounges to celebrity events. Along with his incredible remixes, he has developed his own raw style of mixing various types of hip hop, reggae, r&b, latin and electro in order to separate himself from the average nightclub DJ.
