About Me

Coleone Uglyface General, born in New Brunswick New Jersey, lived throughout the state mainly in East Orange and Lindenwold, NJ. Coming from a musically inclined family, music always been apart of his life. As a child, he played instruments stemming from the piano to the drums. Growing up he had hard times making bad decisions leading to jail sentences but used his talent as a form of expression and inspiration.

At the age of 12 he started to write poems. While staying in East Orange, a neighborhood friend Known as Hump, suggested that Coleone begin to turn his poems into rhymes. Taking his advice, he incorporated his influences from Nas, Snoop, Mobb Deep, Ice Cube and Rakim, to develop his own style.

Moving from East Orange to South Jersey, Coleone met up with the hottest mc's in the area to become part of P.O.W ( Prisoners of War). The group consisted of Coleone, Roc, Blue Steele, Soldier Son. Oppurtunities were bright while recording songs but failed to succeed in the industry. Keeping strong ties with Roc, they came across an upstarting independent label known as Shadow Company. Around this time Coleone and Roc formed Crooktype, recording over 150 to 200 songs and has been on every Shadow Company cd to date.

In 2004, Coleone and his brother Carlito "Nell-C" Gambino decided to take thier music destiny into thier own hands by forming the imprint known as Uglyface Entertainment, which includes music and other business ventures. Coming out with Uglyface Mixtape Vol.1 in less than 2 weeks, shows their dedication and determination to get in the industry.

As a artist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur, entertainer and hustler, Coleone plans to take his talent and company to the forefront. Thru hard work and God's blessings he is looking to come into the industry by making consistently good music. As he states, "Uglyface is a movement, we can't be denied so put on your Uglyface ughhhhh."!!!
