Along way gone by ((Ishmeal Leone)).... in the 80's and 90's while we were having the time of our lives (i know i was) this boy was in a middle of a war its a true story about what he went thru and how at the age if 13 he had to be forced to kill or be killed ,and how he went from just being a kid to being a soldier.it teaches you not to take life and your family for granted.and shows you how sick the world can be sometimes.this book might make you cry i cried about the baby getting shot in the back.i feel going thru things teaches you something about life and seeing it thru his eyes you learn so much about life
