In the beginning there was ball, his first love. In 2000 he started an affair; he picked up a pen and started writing rhymes. Then in 2003 he officially made the switch and left ball to be with music. Shaws grew up playing ball, causing ruckus in the classroom, and listening to rap. Although he never really had a vision of rapping until 2000, he always loved hip-hop. Always had love for the legends. “I grew up listening to Nas, Jay-Z, Big L, 2 Pac, and Biggy. But Nas was the artist that made me start thinking about rapping because he could make a record about anything that’s real”. Since 2000, Shaws has dedicated himself to making fresh and real music. There are no gimmicks or formulas. Everything he raps about, he is about. True rap fans can look forward to Shaw’s fresh lyrics, infamous sense of humor, and real talk. Although Shaws isn’t signed to a major record label he’s not in hurry to get the things he has coming to him. A true hustler knows that nothing comes easy and if it does the price may end up being a lot more than you bargained for. Shaw’s stays focused on achieving his dreams his way. He doesn’t rush. He works hard and works steady. Meet Young Shaws the baller turned rapper that’s got the whole city talking. You’ve now been formally introduced.
