Vietnam Jones, also known as DJ Vietnam or V Dot Nam, is currently the CEO of Hip Hop Empire Magazine. He worked as the President of Marketing & Promotions for the Worldwide Hip Hop Hall of Fame Wax Museum (WWHHHFWM) as a Graphic/Web Designer, Promoter and Ideologist providing services like websites, advertisements, promotional resources, customized press passes, apparel, marketing advice, online structure and much more. Besides DJing for Coast 2 Coast Mixtapes, V also handled the DJ Society of the WWHHHFWM while promoting independent and major artists on various mixtapes. With more than 22 albums under his belt, V has realized that it is more important to put artists in the game instead of being a performer. Vietnam has done work with artists from all over the world such as Germany, Egypt, Puerto Rico and the United States while promoting artist from Michigan, Memphis, New York, Florida, California, Texas, Ohio, Georgia and all the rest of 50 states. For promotion, he gives the most exclusive under ranked artists the chance to shine through multiple mixtape series and the most influential Hip Hop editorial, Hip Hop Empire Magazine; While using social marketing techniques and resources that allows him to reach out to members of Social Networks (i.e. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Reverbnation, etc. ), Email Blast and many more. From designing graphics to setting up products in stores, V Dot is the prime example of a "Jack of All Trades" in simple terms a "Renaissance Man". Which you've probably seen how much work V has put in the game by the features on to the "More Than A Social Network" on The Worldwide Hip Hop Hall of Fame (http://www.hiphophalloffame.net). By putting down all of this work, just made him the Godfather of The Worldwide Hip Hop Hall of Fame Wax Museum Tourism & Hospitality Resort.
Nam engineered and produced for Cut Throat Entertainment which landed him an opportunity to produce “What Must I Say” for SparkDawg featuring Yung Texxas and Prince Paul while he was stationed in Fort Hood, TX. At this time, he was going by the name of "Young Nam" and this was during this time, Nam meet Big Sho' Daz forming the group, Welcome 2 Tho' wd Town (W2TT). Later on, these two hustlers sold 2,000 copies of "B4 Da Show Mixtape, Vol. 1" in the first 2 weeks of its release on the streets. As more songs and characters were created, W2TT expanded the sound of Tho' wd music with Alternative Rock on "It's Funny" under one of his groups. After touching down to Miami around the time of President Obama's election, he completed the entire site which include a community called "GrindMunity". Lauching a booming site, he attracted fans from across the world from countries such as: Italy, Russia, Iceland, Brazil, Venezuela and a whole lot more. V recorded and completed 2 albums: "Diamonds And Dollas Everyday" & "Miami Fresh". Shoot video footage for Miami Fresh: The Movie, which featured Wu-Tang Clan's "Future Chamber", Big Mike, the 40/ 40 Club and many more appearances. He also created theme songs for affiliated companies: "Fiyah On Da Flo" (Miami Heat), "Wetter Den Water" (Voss Water) and "Dance" (Club Madonna).
The plan for V’s career is to create more jobs, spread unity as well as knowledge to the listeners and provide an outlet for independent artists to receive major exposure on the radio, inside of retail stores, online, television and in magazines. Vietnam’s purpose is to release uncut real music that the world can feel as well as understand while interacting with all types of people expanding the sound of hip hop. The main goal for Vietnam is to help the unfortunate that does not have certain resources to reach their dreams by providing them with astonishing opportunities through Hip Hop Empire Magazine.
