“TRIFE” whose undemanding style of rapping/producing is mixed with a twist of futuristic sounds. Trife’s goal is to change the whole look on the music industry and bring something new for the listeners. The expression he gives you in each song/beat shows the love he has for doing music. Being born and raised in New Jersey, his peers inspired him to find his talents within the music.
In 2000, he became a member of the group “Draft Pick Entertainment”. All members where 15. The group’s intention was to grab the ears of a wide spectrum of listeners. To get a buzz up and create a name, they put out mix tapes like “IS THIS WHAT U WANT” (2001), “BACK 2 SCHOOL” (2002), HATE MUZIK (2003). The group got its street credibility by battling and doing dvd’s. Draft Pick did shows at Klub Krome, Club 112, and Brighton Bar. After these majors events the group was well known throughout there area. Unfortunately, the group decided to break up due to creative differences. Trife took a new direction, rapping/producing for himself and other various artist completing 5 solo albums. “MY PHILOSOPHY” (2003), NOW IS HISTORY (2003), THEME MUSIC (2004), SO DEDICATED (2005), THE VOICE OF JERSEY (2006). Along wit his solo albums he also collaborated wit artist and completed “ENEMY OF THE STATE” (2005), HOW TO MAKE AN ALBUM (2006). Working with DJs such as DJ DIGGZ, RATED R, and DJ WHO KNEW helped him earn a name for the mix tapes. Trife’s credibility as a producer has grown immensely since he became known for rapping and making beats. His production sound is extraordinary, unique, and colorful within every beat he produces. To tag his production, he uses the signature trademark “MAJORS” to let people know who was behind the keys. From the UK to the US artist know his trademark. With his motivation, talent, and undeniable hunger he is ready to leave the music industry at stand still, with his powerful movement and swagger. With the lack of energy the music now is giving off, he is a breath of fresh air for the world. He is creating a bridge between urban and pop, bringing it together to create a new sound. It’s safe to say, the music industry is in need of “TRIFE”
