what's up Jay ! the other day 50 posted his new track "don't cry" ... I was honestly looking forward to the big 10 but I wasn't feeling this track at all~ Not the Lyrics, the beat, production, or subject matter .... ofcourse I gave my opinion that I wasn't feeling it, and ofcourse I was accused of being a hater ...... I know that many of 50 fans spoke out that they didn't like it either ..... whats your take on that track? do you really like it or not ? seriously bro, this is why I believe your mentality is just on a whole different level than anybody else in this entire site ........... you really broke it down, what better than to introduce a product that contains an addictive substance, gain the support of people worldwide by making a connection with the product along with a charitable cause, and then elude to the fact that the purchase of the product will in fact provide entirely for a meal.... I do believe the meal aspect of it, but I clearly can see that the purchase of the meal doesn't just go towards providing 100% towards the meal (as well as the fact that the meals won't consist of steak or lamb chop, but the support is still appreciated). After looking at the whole scenario from an un-bias standpoint, we see a product that retails for $2.99.It only cost about $1 to $1.50 to provide for a meal through the United Nations. lets suppose that $1.50 is left after the meal is provided. 1 third of that $1.50 would go to the retailer and another 50 cents would go towards bottling and distribution. If 50 splits the remainder 50 cents with his partner, that means that out of every bottle he would net 25 cents. While most would say that 25 cents isn't much, lets assume that he reaches his goal of 1 billion meals in 5 years. 25 cents out of 1 billion bottles shipped would mean that 50 just netted himself $250 million. Not bad at all, thats an average of $50 million per year that 50 would earn on a yearly basis for the next 5 years on this project alone. the company that manufactures "5 hour energy shot" sold 174 million shot in 2008 and they expected to double that amount the next year after.
