On May 25th, 1987 a singing sensation was born,
A gift of talent that was meant to spread the face of this Earth,
A seed grown from the gritty streets of Brooklyn, bloomed into a rose,
Not many can be compared to this young woman,
A voice of a songstress,
A pen of a poet,
A silhouette of a goddess,
This young woman was named...
TA-TA
TA-TA was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Her ambition of a singer was only a term derived from her early beginnings. Raised in the Black and Hispanic culture, she has experienced a host of musical genres. She has listened and learned from Latin music to the hard soulful sounds of hip-hop and R&B. As a child, TA-TA has studied among the greats. Her influences stir from Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keyes, Aaliyah, and a host of many other musical contributors. She has never been one to copy her influences style, but to make her voice just as powerful as those whom blessed the country with their talent before her.
She was brought up in a home of morals and the importance of education. TA-TA has never let her surroundings affect her dreams. She is one of the few in her neighborhood to graduate from high school and attend a 4 year college.
Throughout TA-TA’s earliest years, she has entered many talent competitions and managed to always come out on top. She has learned sportsmanship and friendly competition while perfecting her talent at the same time. This has allowed TA-TA to work hard in achieving all her goals and the humbling experiences of her past has allowed her keep her eyes on the prize.
TA-TA’s lifelong goal in her career is to continue to add great quality music in the recording industry. She plans to become an entertainer, writer, and singer in her own right and this is why she is “A Force to Be Reckoned With”.
