About Me
Disgusting, Serious, Dead Nice, Clever, Ingenious, or maybe even off his rocker. Those are just a few words used to describe the entity that is presently known as DR. SUICE Aka RIPLEY HUSTLE.

DR. SUICE was born and raised in Harlem's own Thomas Jefferson Houses.
Where he and long time friend MR KLEEN AKA MO-CRACKS had a vision. It is the same place where he later met his present friend and confidant SEAN- LO-CAIN AKA HALO GIVINS. These were the nucleus for the group B.A.N. (BROKE ASS NIGGAS ).

DR. SUICE then, just another local, had no desire to make it big he just liked to rhyme. And he did via local TV shows ie: From the Ave and Follow the Flava, talent shows etc.

But, he wanted more. So, through travels via out-of- town trips and family and friends visits, he embarked on a personal underground tour.

New York is flooded with talent. Emcees come a dime a dozen. There was a time when you could go to any borough or street corner and pick-up a cipher. Then I found that they started to lack originality.. ."All New York emcees sound the same to me"

There had to be a world outside of New York, so I became a household name in other places. I started meeting other emcees some whack, some were nice, and I just began to build with them all. There were local TV shows, talent shows, and corner ciphers in other states, so I tried to be in them all.

I was always surrounded by Hip-Hop. My uncle's MARVIN and DANIEL were DJ's. My cousin MIKE DEE was always rapping, he was the first person who I spit my rhymes to. He helped me see that I needed to stop holding back and stop worrying about what others think.

My first cipher on 135th and Lenox got me open, after that I wanted to be in every cipher. "I think I developed a need to perform through my 'Cypher Truth' trips. Ironically...It was at the 1993 WEED PARADE when MR KLEEN walked me past 9 ciphers and finally let me in on one. I went for broke !!!

After that, hE just kept writing, building, and rhyming with other childhood friends such as, CRIME, AYOMA, ZENO BENZ, B-PRICE and later friends such as, BLACK ROB, KILLA CAM, SUNDANCE, ORDINARE, BLACK SALIVA and CUZ V to name a few.

He still didn't know what it meant to stop holding back, and forget about what others think. Until, July 2, 1998, the death of MR KLEEN AKA MO CRACKS. "That broke my heart...we all know the day is coming... when we have to pay it forward but he didn't deserve to go like that"... It's a shame it took his death to bring out the best in me. It sounds funny but, the majority of my albums stems from his life, our life, his death, and our life after his death."

"SUICE" has showcased his talent in many venues and opened for many of the industries top artists such as: the late Notorious B I G, Pharcyde, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Wyclef, Camp-Lo, The Roots, and R&B sensations Case, Genuine and many others. SUICE also be seen featured on UPN'S THE BEST OF THE SOURCE SOUNDLAB'S UNSIGNED HYPE BATTLES & DVD.

Suice was fed-up with this industry. But has always been here. You can catch his darts on various Mix Tapes and he has had significant contributions to your favorite lyricist lyrics. But he saids he misses the rappers of old: The Wu-Tangs,Doo Wops Bounce Squaud(Snaga-puss,Lord Tarique,Uneek etc)Redman,Canibus(the mix tape version) He claims it's hard to find a descent street mix tape anymore.

Not like the Ron G,Doo W**,Action Pak,Chill Will,DJ Demo days.

He hopes he can bring the Nestalgia back with his Sophmore LP "Tales Of A Thousandaire"...(Coming Soon)

"It's been a few years, the games the same but the people have changed, I've grown. The sophomore album "S.U.ICE, TALES OF A THOUSANDAIRE", shows where I'm at, where I've been and where I'm going."

I definently feel old school music not just old school rap but the music of the 60s and 70s...The Smokey's the Barry Whites to the 80s and 90s hip hop of Big Daddy Kanes, Heavy D's and Slick Rick and Dougie Fresh's, I Like Jay Z, Redman, Naughty By Nature & so forth but I was surrounded by dope Emcee's. My man Sean-Loe, My dude Mr. Kleen aka Moe Cracks, Crime. These dudes were influences then and now. I enjoy music...all kinds. I dig Rock and Alternative music as well. I have no preference, I may be in the whip w/ that Nickle Back or Aerosmith rockin' or you may hear vibing to that Rob Thomas or Corrine Baley Rae. I just like music. I have no favorite.
