About Me

Hello my name is Streets. I am a recording artist/song writer, and currently reside in Southern California. I am 26 and have been making music for the past ten and a half years. I’ve spent my whole life in California wich has had a major influence on my musical talents, sound and style. I began my solo career in 2008 after releasing my first mix tape “Back on the Streets” followed by my second mix tape “West Coast Domination Vol.1” in 2010. In 2011 I released my debut studio album “City of Diamonds” wich is currently being distributed digitally through iTunes and CD Baby.com. This year in March 2012 I released another free mix tape entitled “Hustler of the Year” that was sponsored by Datpiff.com. I am now set to release my sophomore album “The Prelude” next year in 2013.
During my time as an emerging West coast artist I have opened many shows for a host of different other acts throughout the United States. Some of these names include, Chicago multi platinum recording artist Twista. The #1 independent recording artist in the country Tech N9ne. Notable Bay area rapper E40 and Shady Aftermath’s Crooked-I as well as Immortal Technique and the late great legend Guru from GangStar. Although my biggest influence and inspiration comes from the Grammy award winning, multi platinum record producer Dj Khalil who I have had the opportunity to work with on my latest project.
My goal is simple. I want to create great music that the listener can appreciate and relate too for years to come. My music can be categorized by soulful, calming, soothing and peaceful occasionally hype and aggressive.
