Hailing from tha UTP 3rd ward(by way of AK) Soulja 6 (born December-09-1986)is the new breed of HOTBOY.and he is ready to f*** tha game up and give southern rap another breath of fresh air and bring even more lyricism back to the south and still bring that "Bounce Era" music he was brought up on. Along with Big Duke,Trey, and Young Caks he creates that blazing music. He Joined U.S. Army on June 29,2006 and will be out on June 28,2010 but still maintains a love for music . "People constantly in and around the Army ask me why you always got a pen and pad or why you always listen to your mp3 and cd player? and i simply reply with no disrespect to people who love the military with all they heart this s*** was never my dream and i don't plan on doing 20 years I love hip hop just as much as you love the army and saying hooah all the time and music is my thing."He chose the moniker "Soulja6" Out of respsect for the late "Soulja Slim" and also out of respect for the "Growth and Development Movent" Aka "GDN"(i'm limited on how I can rep and what I say in my raps cuz them cheeze eaters trying to tear a n**** down. " I'm A new breed of Hotboy but I still respect the ones who came before me who inspired me to do this s***." I love hip-hop wit a passion and I try to let it reflect every time my pen hits the pad or when i'm dropping a verse in or outside the booth. " Even though I wasn't born in New Orleans(born in alaska but left there when i was like 2 or3.) I still call it home because thats where all my background and history is and my family that lives there and thats stays in otha parts of the boot accept me wit open arms and allow me to rest my head and call tha boot home . I love Louisiana till my dying day.
