Sick Six is an emcee and producer who has been making noise in the Philadelphia underground Hip Hop scene for the past few years. With his well awaited debut "Pain Is Poems" set to drop June 6th of 2009 (the lyricist’s birthday). Features such as, Reef The Lost Cauze, Doap Nixon, Charlie K of Writtenhouse, Chief Kamachi just to name a few, collaborate with Sick Six for this project. This album has been said to be one of the most creative albums to come out of Philly in a long time. With his lyrical abilities Six takes the listener through a glimpse of his life. When asked: "what inspires your music?" Sick Six responded, "Real life pain". With his original, unorthodox flow, this will be an album of complete originality. A complex poetic intro prepares you for the nineteen tracks to follow, twenty tracks total this work is anything but amateur. With a stage presence to remember Sick Six is one of the most well rounded emcees to come out of Philly. Not to mention a growing producer and engineer, fourteen of the twenty tracks were produced by Sick Six himself. Featured producers of the album include: Jeff "Stress" Davis, Chris Conway of Writtenhouse, Hitfarmers (Germany) & Mindesign of Soulkwest. With Dan Bradley on the graphic design and photography and Philadelphia's own Bes Kept Entertainment backing him up, what we have here is a well put together musical demo to die for. Debuts in every sense of the word, a formal introduction, don’t take my word for it, listen for yourself! Sick Six Music 2009 “Pain Is Poems”.
They don't give Grammys for artists who talk about selling drugs and guns and f****** b******. They give Grammys to artists who make cry baby songs, gay poppy b******* and who fall in line with what the industry wants you to portray.
