About Me
Welcome to my page, my name is Reuben, but you can call me Reub for short. I'm hear to network with individuals from all paths of life. I enjoy meeting new people and learning something new about different cultures everyday. I am originally of Jamaican descent, but born in England, The United Kingdom. I moved to the U.S. at the age of 8yrs old, where I grew up during my youthful days. I'm the youngest of 2 other siblings, brother and sister to be exact. I'm very down to earth and not ashamed of where I came from because we grew up in some very tough circumstances that made me who I am today. I love my people and all the beautiful things that we stand for, not the negative images that portray in media everyday. I strive to live by high standards and gravitate to those who do the same. I'm a humble gentleman with a great sense of humor and character for myself and the youth of every black community. I love seeing black people progress in all paths of life. Thankfully my God given ability allowed me to pursue basketball as an adolescent growing up amongst drugs, gangs, jail, death, and every form of negativity that resides in any urban community. My goal is to open my own recreational centers in many impoverished communities, giving youth a place where they can feel at home, and providing the resources to enhance their chances of survival in this competitive world. The way the economy is working right now, we're gonna need as much support as we can get. I'm hoping that Obama wins so that just maybe he can make a difference in the black community because we're effected by this more than anyone else.
