BIO: Corey Lewis “AKA” REYCOLAW was born in Toronto, Ontario (Canada), on July 26, 1985. Born of Jamaican parents, He is the eldest of six siblings. In 1994 Corey’s love for music gradually began at the young age of 9, while lip singing songs of young artist Tevin Campbell to entertain his friends and family. His joy for performance grew stronger during his years in junior high and later in high school. As his admiration for the art of the rap music grew, artist Jay-Z and Biggie Smalls mostly influenced Corey’s love for Rap Music. In 1998 Corey began to write his lyrics and was inspired to a much higher energy after the release of Jay-Z ‘s Hard Knock Life album. This led him to register his own independent label later in 2004. RELOAD IT RECORDS was the name he gave his label as a result of the intro words by “ Pain In Da Ass” off the Jay-z album. Corey took time out to study his own craft and developed his own style. His unique style allows him to incorporate reggae with hip hop. Generated by a new buzz in 2002 , Corey picked up on rap artist 50 Cent, general of G-UNIT RECORDS. His desire to continue his music career grew even stronger. Since then Corey has been rapping for as long as 12 years and is really eager to see his career move forward in the music industry.
