About Me

Rain is a UK rapper originating from South West London.He has been described by many as a 'very energetic artist with a lot of charisma' and is definitely destined for big things.

Rain has been involved in music from a very early age and in 2004 he decided to pursue his music career professionally and began work on his first project- 'Illusions of the struggle', In 2005 the mixtape was released with a disc full of heartfelt Hip Hop music.

Later that year he released a follow up mixtape 'The Struggle Continues' which caught the ear of Choice FM and UMA award winning DJ 279 who began to support a particular song from the cd titled 'Send me'. 279 played this on regular rotation and the song went onto catch the ear of other leading urban DJ's including BBC 1xtra Ras kwame who also began to support the song on his show.Overall this single won 'homegrown track of the week' 2 weeks running and was highly rated by the listeners.

Made in britain mixtape was a popular street release featuring production from multi platinum producer Chad B and special guest artist feature from 'Big Twins' from Infamous Mobb who works heavily with Prodigy and Havoc from Mobb deep.

Rain has a strong live performance and has performed at many events around the UK and abroad including performances in Tenerife, Barbados and the USA.He has had regular rotation from all top London radio stations Kiss 100,Choice Fm,Radio 1,BBC 1xtra and by many underground stations and internet radio stations.

Rain has worked with many producers around the world including multi platinum producers Tha Bizness who work with 50 cent,Lil wayne,T pain and Drake to name a few.
Rain had collaborated with some of UK's top urban artists including reggae legend Tippa Irie,Katie Pearl and wrote several songs with r&b singer Nathan aka Nfg.Their track entitled On Fire is set to be this summer's huge party anthem.

Rain has also collaborated with Infamous Mobb's Ty nitty for a project titled 'London to Qb' set for release early 2011 which is already creating a heavy buzz in the streets.
