Q was instrumental in the launching of Clive Davis' J Records by writing and producing the label's first 2 gold singles, "Liquid Dreams" (O-Town) and "Bizounce" (Olivia of G-Unit fame). After being in the business for over ten years, Q has garnered worldwide attention for his songwriting skills and unique approach to producing hit records.
With the new millenium came the internet revolution, and subsequently a whole new way of selling records. Independent record labels were on the rise, and after having worked with the majors for years, Q decided to create a brand of his own and started his own label - QwiLite Entertainment. Today, QwiLite boasts a roster of artists that are both commercially hot AND naturally talented - the latter of which is becoming more and more extinct thanks to today's technology-driven recording studios. QwiLite's first two breakout stars, "Ranjini aka "The Indian Princess", and "Jia Conna" , are poised to release their debut albums in 2008. His other accolades include composing hits for Grammy Award Winners, Alicia Keys, Babyface, Usher, Luther Vandross, The Temptations, George Benson, Stephanie Mills, multi-platinum artist Joe, Jon B, Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham, and countless others. In addition, he has written for several movie soundtracks and TV shows.
