Heavily criticized by his best friend Carl for the type of lyrics he was writing, Qb's mother nicknamed him Butcher and called his songs Murder Rap. Tired of being written off as a wack rapper Qb began to study the likes of slick Rick, Too Short, Scareface, 8ball n MJG, David Banner, UGK, Tupac and others. It wasnt until 2001 when QB joined the military to find a way for hmself, he met Genisis and Young Freedom. Genisis a north Philli offspring and Freedom a New Jeresy rep. Drop 4 group albums and still trying to find a voice of his own. The group ended due to the retirement of Double R and L.A.C. 2007 QB linked up with Mo Boi and the rest of Cocky Ent. QB and Mo boi would form an remarkable relationship that "nobody will break" says QB. The single "Kiss Myself" produced by Mo Boi was an instant mash. Getting crazy spins on the radio without any major push, QB followed by dropping another smash "Thinking Bout You" and the ladies was feeling him. Still yet no album slated to come out, the group worked on the unreleased album "City On Fire". Which QB says, "he still has plans on releasing it as soon as answers are giving from Mo Boi to do so. While the group began to get silent due to the fact of diffrences, QB went on to lock himself in the studio to work on his craft. Looking to Mo Boi's dad as an mentor and teacher. "I will never forget when he told me to Show and Prove"!! QB says. So with that QB finished his unreleased album "Show and Prove", as well as an yet untitled follow up to it.
