...The name is KAS, Mr. KAS:...
I work contractually for,SONY, UMG, and AKEEMA Digital Recordings (ADR1) as a full consultant Designing/building/ and Modifying their Audio and/or Video (and DATA) studios. And now a Hi-Def Video systems specialist (1080p 60fps). Sometimes I am requested to Mix and/or supervise their recordings (5.1, 7.1, Mix specialist).

I sort of' got a 'Grandfathered-in-Start' in this Biz: Grandfather Chauncey L. Christian (2nd Afro-Amer. CPA in USA!~ ) 'Started/Managed' Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Etta James, Ella Fitzgerald, Ben E. King, The Ink Spots, Charlie Parker, Wilson Pickett, Sam Cooke, Billy Eckstein, and quite a few others!!!~.....plus...I always loved to 'modify' recorders, Televisions, (Helps when your Uncle (CLC's Son!) was a co-inventor of Color-CRT's for RCA!), and modifying Computers (Yes...Even the IBM and DEC Mainframes from times past!~...<---My Father was Systems' Analyst (Retired now) for Mercedes Benz, Met-Life, etc.... :-)
...I got my 'first tape recorder' at age 5, XMAS, ...and, as they say, the rest is history!~ ;-)

Add also; My Mother was a University Educated NYC School Teacher (Also Retired..) and she taught the love and patience that must go into engineering and Art (same really..) of any sort!!

Oh, and add that I am also an award-winning computer graphics designer(AD1 '02)...and a Patent-pending holder on new Digital dithering techniques for audio. (Also...I am the (C++ and Systems setup) Programmer for 'their' recording systems! <--for the "techie" in you?.. ;-)) Lastly; I consult with several Major AD Agencies on their Networked-computer-CGI-systems (MAC/PC...graphics and multimedia-setup).
