Miami Beat Wave is the team of music producers consisting of Brandan Toledo and Chip Williams, who came together to form the company in 2006. Using live instrumentation along with vintage synthesizers and samplers, Miami Beat Wave is birthing a new style of Hip Hop and R&B. Their wide musical range and ear for detail make for a refreshing dose of real music.
Born in Miami, Brandan has always been immersed in the Hip Hop culture. He started out building a small home studio, and engineering for independent artists around the city. Raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, Chip devoted himself to being a skilled drummer and guitarist. He has played in a number of bands, ranging from rock to reggae.
Their passion for music drove them to attend Full Sail: School of Music & Media Production in Orlando, Florida where they earned an Associate of Science Degree in Recording Arts and a Bachelors Degree in Entertainment Business.
Operating in Miami, They work out of a personal recording studio grinding out beats and heavily engineering projects for an array of artists coming out of Florida. Blessed with musical talent and a keen sense for sound, Miami Beat Wave is poised for continued success.
Miami Beat Wave worked closely with Hudson Entertainment to create 15 tracks for the video game Miami Law. Miami Law is scheduled for release in June 2009 on the Nintendo DS game system.
