About Me

I,King FrosT, 1st picked up a pen & pad when I was only 16.(2003) I originally started rapping because some of my guys were doin it and I thought it was cool. I went threw the whole shy syndrome all artist start off with,you know,lacking that confidence.(What we know call "SWAG") Eventually my flow started to pick up and I got a lil better. Me and my guys would always be spittin freestyles on a half-broken boom box in his basement recording crazy freestyles! I always felt I was descent until I started hearin people say I wasn't all dat and people didn't wanna put me on a track! So,me bein me,I just fell back and started doin my own thing. I started filling up note book,after note book,after note book... Thats how I started to upgrade myself to be a better MC/rapper. Around the summer of '06 I experienced my 1st taste of what the booth was like,and I aint never been the same sense! I been adicted to making myself sound better and perfecting my craft. I droped my 1st mix-tape "20 Rounds:Wit More N Da Chamber" that same year. I knew I was doin something rite when I got my 1st phone number from a independent label looking for talent! I recorded my 1st,original, LP. It had 16 hot joints on there with my lead single "Beep Beep". That was my 1st hit I "ever" had. That pushed my buzz up and started having people turn they heads my direction for a change! By the end of that summer the label fell apart and that CD never ended up getting finished. A year later,summer '07 I droped my 2nd mix-tape "Warnin Shots:Vol I-Dead or Alive". I felt so rejuvenated and ready when I droped this one! This is the mix-tape that started to put me in the direction im headed now! That mix-tape had "Imma Pimp ft. Frank Spencer","Get N ft. Populer Rome" and "So Fresh ft.Topic". Those were my hottest single out at the time! This mix-tape really certified me as an high priorty local talent. That wasn't enough for me though,I started to get more and more thirsty. So, I started doin guess spots on peoples mix-tapes,hoping on everything I could get my hands on, and staying busy. I started to see that my career rest in my own hands. I have major hits on myspace and im networking with major people. I have a stronger fan base now and is steadily growing! I just opened up for Hurricane Chris and now im getting set to open up for Mike Jones! Well,see what happens next...'09 to infinity,here I go!!


As far as my influences and how I sound...I would have to say JadaKiss is the main reason I go so hard,thats who I look up to. God,I do alot of praying. He gives me strength to keep goin on those days I feel like I cant take no more of the struggle. My family and my girl plays a huge role in my success to.


What sets me apart...My talent,my drive,hard work,my ablilty to communicate well with people,my willingness to play my role with any team,ready to shine on my grind, and im ready to put my city on the map!! IA stand up!!
