Jahdiel “Young Jedi” Ashley was born and raised on the Southside of N.D.G; a little borough on the West End of Montreal. His career as an artist sprung in 2002 when he was 11 years old and has only been on the rise since. Now 17 years old, he is more focused and ready to take on the gritty music industry. He believes he has many innovative ideas to input into the world in terms of music and the infinite possibilities it offers. His style is described as a melting pot combining many different genres of music: from Hip-Hop, to Pop, with a hint of reggae flavor to spice things up and seal the package. When it comes to the urban scene in the city of Montreal, Young Jedi is definitely not a stranger. Having performed as the opening act for various renowned artists such as Lloyd Banks (G-Unit), Collie Buddz, Pitbull, Boot Camp Clik, Young Buck (G-Unit) and Papoose, he has acquired a supportive and devoted fan base. All of Young Jedi's performing experiences play a big part in the growth and polishing of his artistic craft; whether it is at a big venue or at a community event he delivers with the same amount of energy and enthusiasm. Young Jedi has also performed at other major events including the Montreal Reggae Festival and the EMSB Brainwaves Gala, an annual fundraiser for brain tumor awareness televised on CTV. Young Jedi presently has two (2) compilations under his belt, which received extremely successful responses from his listeners in Montreal and abroad. He is currently in the studio working on an official album as well as numerous other projects with reputed producers to release across Canada and overseas. In the United States, Young Jedi has established many useful contacts in the field as far as artists, A&R's, producers and investors are concerned; mostly in the Los Angeles area. Yet an artist must be a well-rounded individual; proper mannerisms, respectful of others and their surroundings, charming as well as intelligent, as talent can only go so far. Young Jedi's educational background is one that proves to be very prosperous. He recently graduated from one of the best Enriched Math & Science high schools in the city of Montreal. He plans to attend college to study in the field of International Business, as well as pursue his dreams of being successful in music and recognized in the industry as an icon. Being the offspring of a Jamaican/Italian couple, Young Jedi is equipped with the best of both worlds. With this advantage, he is able to cater his music to everybody in a way that keeps up with the other music being released on a day-to-day basis. This allows for him to keep his listeners satisfied, as far as their pleasure is concerned. Young Jedi is very ambitious and is determined to make his mark. Aware of all the obstacles that will appear along his journey to the top, he handles his business with a certain assertiveness that shows his business partners that he is serious and has goals he plans to achieve. He has the “business before pleasure” mentality, which is an important requirement when dealing in an industry as vast as music. At the end of the day, Young Jedi does it all for his fans. He spends endless nights in the studio in order to achieve the closest thing to perfection for his fans to enjoy. What he does is far from a hobby and definitely more than a dream; it is a mission. His determination will one day make him a role model for many individuals worldwide; a task that he will make a reality.

nas f***** up how you agree to do a show get payed in advance and decide not to go and party back in the u.s the day u was supposed to be in angola. yeah nas eventually payed back the money but he kinda turned his back on the promoter.
