hi jawn doe, played your video, i know your angry over some people like 50 cent but seriously you have a voice that i feel is more comedian than anything else, seriously, but your language is so wild hahahah, respect to you
Through the history of rap and hip-hop, artists have been bringing new and creative music with original styles and unique concepts.
The edgy persona of urban music has not only made it the most controversial art form but also the most financially lucrative. Although the recording industry has been branded as having its own je ne sais quoi,
Jawn & Jain Doe are truly taking rap and music in general to a new level.
If the name Jawn & Jain Doe doesn’t jump out at you, how about the fact that no one knows what the look like. Jawn & Jain Doe have an extraordinary uncategorized style yet their image remains a mystery. Rap critics are saying that Jawn & Jain Doe is a ticking time bomb within the rap/hip-hop world. They’re lyrical content consists of a no hold back, attack verses. Many of these verses have been taken as literal and personal threats. This creates a problem for rival artists that can’t beef with what they can’t see. “This has the potential to start something far more terrible than the whole Biggie Tupac East Coast West Coast thing”, says Mike Sherwood, for Urban Eddge Magazine.
Believe it or not Jawn & Jain Doe has music, music videos, and has been known to make special; appearances however there faces have never been revealed to the public. While some critics argue that “unseen” artists aren’t going to last very long, others insist that invisible is the new invincible. The Doe Duo has been compared to rap artist Eminem due to the fact that his being white contributed to his success while some thought that there was and never would be a market for a white rapper. Is there a market for an unseen rapper? “Of course not,” says Jeff Berhgman executive producer at Atlantis Ink Productions, “there wasn’t a market for Eminem but he created one, that’s the same thing that Jawn & Jain did but on an amazingly higher level.”
Some speculators ask, why would anyone want to make music and not be seen? Wouldn’t it be easier more fulfilling if everyone can see who you are and recognize you for your work? But maybe that’s just it. Maybe Jawn and Jain Doe aren’t about recognition. Perhaps they actually focus on their art instead of image like most artists seem to do now. That would explain why Jawn & Jain Doe’s lyrical content has been described as generally more entertaining than other artists. Besides, Jawn and Jain Doe may not fit the typical idea of role models but they are practically super heroes. They songs are giving a valuable gift to the world of entertainment, they don’t exactly seem to be glory hogs, and no one knows their true identities. How cool is that!? Somewhere among us walks a new level of artist, rappers to some but super heroes to the rest of us.
