Originally from Kansas City, MO. now residing in Atlanta, this vocalist is reaching extreme heights as a musician. He has a sensational vocal style, which could put you in the mind of a Maxwell, or Bilal, and a charismatic style such as classic R&B legend Barry White. JAAZ describes his music as Jaazrhythmicfunk, which is a combination of styles harmoniously blended. As a child his musical influences were; Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Donnie Hathaway, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and The Parliament Funkadelic. Singer songwriter JAAZ, has been vocally trained in the Kuma Sutra, and has incorporated his romantic yet street savvy appeal to his music. With one goal in mind, and that's"Make hit records". He is determined to make it to the top. His plan is simple, to strive for success as a total entertainer and be the best at what he does.

Growing up JAAZ was inspired by his mother, his uncle percussionist Greg "Chille G" Allen and father trombonist Adell Kirkwood. His family will give him the inspiration he needed to get out there and make his dreams come true. Since he was a young man his mother always told him to always do something for himself. The time has come for change, dont just reach for the stars you can be one.

JAAZ has already established himself as a "Wanted Man" in the music industry. When it comes to performing, producing, and song-writing many people of stature are keeping a watchful eye on him. JAAZ has developed a very versatile and creative production style that has made him one of the hottest and most sought after artist/producers in the nation.

This stylish vocalist has, performed with and opened for such artists as; P. Diddy, Mint Condition, Silk, 112, Chico Debarge, Gerald Levert, E-40, K-CI & JOJO, Tech N9ne, Fabulous, and more. As far as being new to the music scene he has established himself as a total entertainer. He wrote, produced, performed, composed and played most of the instruments on his debut album entitled "ShowUme".
