Hip Hop is an expression of emotion/feelings through music.
The internet killed hip hop, because so many of you idiots get to voice your opinions.
Old rappers not retiring (jayz, busta rhymes, krs1, nas, etc) killed hip hop because hip hop changes over time and they are trying to preserve something that is suppose to evolve.

Stop the Violence Vol 1: New Orleans Rapper Shot Dead!
Pioneering New Orleans rapper Sporty T, who helped define the city's rap scene in the late 80s, was found shot to death early Tuesday morning (July 15).
The 41-year-old born Terrance Vine was discovered by his sister after his FEMA trailer was riddled with bullets in the pre-dawn hours.
