Coming from the east side of Chicago, the aspiring artist/producer GBOY has been blazing the scenes with his crazy and different rap style. At the age of twenty one GBOY is already in rotation on Jango, got spins on 107.5 WGCI’s GOILLRadio for four consecutive weeks, on Detroit’s Gutta Muzik Radio and on local stations in Atlanta. He has also been featured on a page in Makin It Magazine based in Atlanta and on a DJ Vlad mixtape. Due to the single Get Paid available on iTunes and the underground mixtape titled The Package, GBOY is buzzing throughout the city of Chicago and in several of other places in the United States.

Striving to be one of the best, GBOY is in the studio currently working on his first album. He has the mind and determination to be on top. He says this will be proven from the album he is working on. GBOY is also currently performing on the regular at open mics and contests throughout Chicago. Feeling as if networking is a major part of the music business GBOY is networking with photographers, models, graphic designers, DJ’s, engineers, producers, singers and other rap artist. No turning back now since GBOY is in too deep into the music. Being unsigned GBOY has been preparing for the opportunity to show the world Kanye mixed with The Beatles and some southern style and bass.

So says professional DJ’s and huge party promoters GBOY’s style is different from what they have heard on radio and on the streets. Although he is from the projects his style of music is fun, catchy and versatile. GBOY is also a great party starter!!
