To start this look at the Freeloadas you must first look at the state of Maryland. Maryland is a cultural blend, like a melting pot, very diverse; therefore, it is no wonder that Marylands premiere hip-hop group would also be of an ethnic blend. Since first forming in 1996, the Freeloadas have won several talent showcases, released four independent albums, received record spins on various Maryland radio and internet radio stations and internationally.The Freeloadas have also received alot of press from articles and write-ups in several newspapers and magazines. The Freeloadas have accomplished all this and a lot more all while steadily increasing their fan base in and around Maryland. Produced by Tommy Gun, the three entrepreneurs; Tommy Gun, Johnny Bravo, and Absoloot; collectively run Freeloadas Productions Incorporated. The newest release from the Loadas and Freeloadas Productions is the 34 track double cd MODERN ART is available now.

The Freeloadas are doing big things independently; however, are open to investors, distribution deals, etc., as long as the Freeloadas are given their creative freedom. What makes the Freeloadas so unique and special is that anything the Loadas produce becomes popular, not because it is mainstream, but because they are real and people can identify with that.
