Music Make's The World Go Round!!
WestSide!!!!
Rap groups such as "RUN DMC" "LEADERS OF THE NEW SCHOOL" "ONYX" and "L.O.X". Have rhymed about hustling in the ghetto and Perls of the street life since the dawn of HIP-HOP, but what distinguishes "HEAT", New Jersey's newest rap phenomenon is their unique approach of relaying these harsh realities. These raw and talented individuals may share similar backgrounds from the streets, but the distinct personalities of Murda, Panic and Crisis create the fire that is know as HEAT! Their styles combine to portray what they like to define as the next level of Hip-Hop. Their music takes you through a solid journey, from the political and social issues of the world to the gritty tales of hustling in the hood. Murda, Panic and Crisis joined forces in 1998 while in High school by performing in local talent shows and clubs they immediately established a strong local buzz. Soon clubs booked the trio they drew such large crowds that promoters began to bend the age limits for their performances. In 1999, with help of mixtapes and more local appearances, they gained the attention of Grammy award winning producer EASY MO BEE who has worked with Hip-Hop heavy weights such as Jay-Z, Lost Boys, Tupac, Craig Mack, and Notorious B. I. G. seeing the potential to turn HEAT into a major Hip-Hop act, MO BEE took the youngsters under his wing and into the recording studio. Although their work with EASY MO BEE was short lived, in 2004 Screw Akons brother and the late founder and CEO of Block Royal Records, approached HEAT after hearing the buzz on the hottest group in Jersey City. Block Royal welcomed them into the family soon after and the rest is history. Since HEAT has traveled to various cities to promote their music. They have also opened for several Hip-Hop acts such as Akon, Lloyd Banks, Pitbull, Mob Deep, Remy Martin, and D-Block. HEAT has independently released four albums of all original music in the industry with no major distribution. ("THE JERSEY JOURNAL, H2, FEVER AND THROUGH THE FIRE) and are currently finishing the 5th album titled "Deal or No Deal" with the first single "What You Gonna Do" Feat Akon buzzing the airwaves schedule for an early 09 release. Heat are unsigned!
