Got Some Nerve
Got Some Nerve
As black people we have issues
Our pride needs to be regained
But this doesn’t mean we’ve gone blind
And can’t see that hate remains
Many say that things have changed
But despite this constant claim
The media disrespects queens
In the streets black teens are slain
They got some nerve
Cops are sworn to serve and protect us
But it seems that it’s all about whites with green getting justice
