"MIC CORLEONE" a.k.a Emce Da Don: Real name- Steven Sepz, Born February 12th, 1985 in Hoboken NJ. Puerto Rican, (his father being from Brooklyn, NY, and his mother from Jersey City, NJ) He grew up in the Tristate area. Surviving life in the slums and ghettos he was raised in, he managed to find what would later prove to be his key to success, his love for music. Inspired by lyrics from such artists as (Tupac, Biggie, DMX, Nas, Big L, AZ, Big Pun, and Jay-Z)he found himself taking notes on life. He first began with other artists known as Logic and Crucial, but due to unfortunate events with his family, his fellow group members and run ins with the law he had given up hope for a music career. He continued to hustle and live the street life to the fullest. But after several close encounters and dangerous situations he was dealt he tried to piece his life back together. He found himself concentrating on school and focusing on trying to settle down. He joined the United States Navy at the age of 19 to serve his country. After returning home from the Navy he began working with some people who were passionate about music. He then started exploring his own talents and realized he had potential for greatness. He began to build a Label called U.N.I.O.N. RECORDS (Uniting Nations In One Noise) which would become his stepping ground to success. Searching for the perfect place to call home he moved from Norfolk, Virginia to Atlanta, Georgia and back to Jersey City, New Jersey. Now Hes finally back home and taking his throne as Jerseys Best. With his latest release of his long awaited debut album "Story of my Life" he has gained recognition in the music industry as potentially becoming the next great thing to happen in hip hop. Working his way up the ladder, step by step, he is already breaching the front doors of radio stations and soon you will see him in magazines, music videos, TV shows and any other form of media that he can push himself onto to continue to gain his recognition and successfully become one of the greats of his generation.
