King Cash and Majestic have both come a long way from the streets of St. Louis, MO. Music has been a part of their lives even when they were kids. Majestic explains, “I remember the first time I found out that me and King Cash were related. We instantly clicked with the Nintendo and Playstation but we both had the same passion for music.” King Cash states, “I was always into good music. I had to have it even though we couldn’t rap or make beats back then but we were determined to learn.” In 2005, Majestic began to hone his craft in rap by holding rap battles in the back of North County Tech. King Cash continued to follow his passion for by learning how to be a Music Producer and finding his sound.
In the beginning of 2008, King Cash traveled to Kansas City, MO and connected with some friends to start a music group by the name of Hollow Point Productions. At that time, Majestic unfortunately had to spend 120 days incarcerated. King Cash describes, “I always looked out for my cuzzo. Even though we made some bad decisions in the past, he held it down for me while he was away as much as I held it down while I was in KC.” He continues, “I stayed on his head about this rap s*** and I wasn’t going to let s*** stop me. Not even the niggas that I was working with before.” Majestic soon got out and got a job as a Porter to get back on his feet.
In 2009, King Cash and Majestic finally decided to work together again under the moniker Hollow Point Productions. King Cash then introduced Majestic to a talented R&B singer by the name of Jaii Reynolds. The three of them instantly knew that the chemistry was there and became a triple threat in the lab. Highlight hits from them include the “Roger That” remix and the club banger “Stay Strapped”.
