About Me

My Name is Cymondae a/k/a "Bhavani The Dymonde Queen"... Raised by my S.C. native Grandmother Madeline Lucus (R.I.P.), in the projects what used to be Father Panic Village (FPV) in Bpt. CT. Grew up less fortunate than other... I had plenty of family & love around me as a kid. A uncle named Eric, who played music day & nite and kept me in the camera with a microphone in my hand! Although till this day, I never perused my career as a Singer, I never stopped loving MUSIC!

I lost my Mother & three years later the Father of my children a long time ago to the streets. I knew that even though the two closest people to me were taking away, God had something in store for me & always understood that everything happens for a reason!

In January of 2009, I decided that I was tired of working for others and not doing what makes "me" happy! I took everything that I've learned from working the last 14 years in corporate America and applied it to my "Dreams"... My goal is to help others achieve their goals in life through their music.

One thing that has always lifted my spirits was music, whether it was R&B, Gospel, Hip-Hop or Neol Soul.. Singing and listening to others always put a smile on my face.
I've had my ups & downs therefore, I judge no one. Some say I am too strong for my own good, but I feel that if I wasn't this way, you who feel that way; would try to take advantage of me! And "Bhavani" is not having that! So, I walk alone...

CT Artists have been struggling for years to be apart of the Music Industry. Never have I turned on my television and seen CT on BET, MTV, VH1, Music Award Shows... the list goes on and on! What I do see is NY, ATL, FL, & AL... And since I have come into this game, I have received nothing but love from NY, ATL, FL, & AL... Thank you all, even the States I didn't mentioned... You know who you are!

Out here in CT, I am the ONLY woman in the game; doing what I do for CT Artists - Because I care! Which makes me more of a target... to my Haters! What didn't kill me has made me stronger! I thank those that have tried to kill my spirit and tell me that I couldn't do this!
