About Me

My name is Drayton Kyles but my "people" call me Yungin'. I'm 21 years old and you can call me the prettiest rapper to ever pick up a pen. I got my name at birth, and I was named after my hero/mentor/father so my government name was the only option when picking a "stage name." I guess it fits me because I try my best to be myself when creating music and how I carry myself at shows. Music isn't my last option, I consider it my only option. I'm a certified college dropout and now full-time musician/father. I don't condone dropping out of college (or anything) but my heart is in music, not in that marketing degree that I'm a semester from getting! Everything I do is for my daughter and family, so hopefully all my hardwork will pay off for me one day and I will receive a reward for my efforts. I've put out one mixtape (Spud Vs. Yung: Vol. 1) in the last year with my group Loyal Gangstaz Ent. and been featured on dozens. I did approximately 100 shows in 2008, but I'm lightening up the load in 2009 so I focus on the music and spend more time trying to get my hands on the business, but I miss the stage like crazy! My family says I have two personalities. In everyday life I'm quiet and too myself, but when I'm on that stage I become an animal and entertaining is all I know!!
