Weither opening up for Slick Rick at the House of Blues in Anaheim, to being on the same stage as The Rza from Wu-Tang Clan, at a sold out Key Club show in Hollywood, Drastic's drive and ambition in the rap game has continued to shine the spot light on his career. After winning The Westcoast Showoff Open Mic Battle hosted by RicHard and DJ Big Boss it was clear that this story was far from over, but waiting to take off and capture the heart of the hip hop junkie. Working with Renowned producer T-Nut from the Pricks whos resume includes productions with Snoop Dogg and Goldie Loc; Producer and Dj for the Pharcyde, DJ Willie Pee, as well as rapper Tay Nati known for his work on the soundtrack, Waist Deep, a movie starring The Game, Drastic's level of professionalism in the hip hop world has earned him well deserved respect and a promising buzz in the streets of LA county. Signing with Animal Tribe Records for a year gave Drastic a wide range of opportunities as well as insight to the business and marketing aspects of the music industry. Now an independent artist in 2009, Belltown's Finest released his first mixtape in late 2008 called The Prelude to Greatness Vol. 1 with former business partner Paul Nolasco of Nolasco Interprises and Engineer Ian Fleming, who has his own self-titled band with their first single, "I Suck", presently playing on The World Famous KROQ.
