There are dee-jays that just spin music and there are Dj’s who break hits. Dj Scrill is considered to be a hit breaking DJ. Born and raised in Hooks, Texas and now residing in the Texarkana area. DJ Scrill is considered to be a pioneer in the Ark-La-Tex area. After receiving his first set of turntables at age fifteen, DJ Scrill knew that he was destined to use his skills to move the masses. Coming from a family that possessed a very strong Missionary Baptist upbringing, DJ Scrill realized that music was his calling.”Growing up in church and being in the church choir gave me the desire to hear and determine what music is pleasant to the ears. DJ Scrill has been spinning music for over fourteen years. Scrill has made a name for himself by doing local parties, hosting mixtapes, and running three mixshows. DJ Scrill has mixshows on WSOUF.com,Thugzone.com, and Promoradioshow.net. Scrill also owns his own internet station as well that is titled S.U.A. Mixtape Radio. With all these irons in the fire DJ Scrill still has the desire to grow. He will soon release an album for his Kickdoe Ent. Label upstart. “I want to be recognized with the greats, like DJ Red Alert, Kid Capri, Jazzy Jeff, DJ Screw just to name a few” Says DJ Scrill. Dj Scrill is certainly on his way there and he is determined to let nothing or anyone stand in his way.
