DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS is best describes as a one stop shop for all your musical needs at a budgeted price. The label first started business in 2005. From what started as a hobby turned into a dynamic under-ground urban music factory. The studio is well-known for its hard hitting rap & hip-hop music. Uniquely, not only does the organization offer recording services but also supports and offers promotion and artist management of one’s music and exposure.

There is no restricted trading hours at DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS. Recording an artist at 10 o’clock on a Sunday or a Monday night is a norm and it is opened to all artist if they have a “sudden urge to record” or “sudden flow of inspiration”. The laid back nature of DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS allows artist to feel comfortable at approaching in some what a informal manner at times.

At DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS, we have recorded individual artists from the Australian and New Zealand idol - top twelve to the opening act of international super star FLO-RIDA artist name ( MUFFLEZ aka Samir ) he also has done a recent film clip on MTV’s top 20 urban countdown with idol star Ricki Lee / track name (Wiggle It) to a signed Turkish artists Cem-Earslan. We have also recorded a long list of local artist whom are regular clients at the studio from single recording artist to bands and groups.
It is important for me to support local talent as it begins from showcasing what you have in the city or country that you live in. DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS has so far recorded up to 60 artists both local and international.

Since 2006, DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS has been affiliated with American Mix-tape labels such as STREET CREDIBILITY and SWAGG. These mix-tapes gets distributed in five countries worldwide including Australia, New Zealand, U.S.A, Germany, and Canada. Also, KHALIL SOUND PRODUCTIONS for advanced mastering services.
Recently on September 2008, DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS released it’s first mix-tape titled “WE DOIN’IT 4URSELVES VOL1”. It featured a major line-up from our list of talented artist. The mix-tape had its own official launch night at Space nightclub on Liverpool Street, Sydney. The night showcased 2 of DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS hand picked artist to perform live, it was a successful night and audience kept coming back for mix-tape give-aways. From this night, DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS started to build a mailing list with prospective fans as well as artists and currently have 200 individual’s details collected so that we can mail out updates and keep the people in the know about DOIT4URSELF STUDIOS and it’s upcoming artist.

I choose this campaign because I have 20 years of listening and watching the hip-hop scene in America & Australia and comparing the both .It has taught me to look out for new trends and styles of music to keep up to date with the times.
Rap / Hip-hop in Australia has not hit its market correctly yet, like the USA and the rest of the world. I intend on changing just that with my vision to the industry and my artists that I work with from my studio to my live performances.

Australian hip-hop is not yet strong enough and needs all the support it can get, plus while showing the rest of the world what we in Australia (the artists & myself) can really do.LETS GET IT..........
