About Me

DL2 DAYLYRIC was born and raised in Los Angeles. His early years were pretty rough, and nothing ever came easy for him, including his vocals. If asked, he’d say he was blessed with the ability to work hard. He spent countless hours training his voice and trying to achieve the right sound. It wasn’t easy, but his diligence transformed his voice into the smooth melodic sound that he’s blessing our ears with these days.
The sound DL2 DAYLYRIC is favoring these days is a combination of R&B with a touch of Spanish. Ever the perfectionist, and eager to explore the opportunities of an untapped market, he began recognizing Latin heritage in his songs. He is now incorporating Latin lyrics, and the response thus far has been quite positive. This self-made man is ready to take on the world, but is definitely not forgetting where he came from.
He got his big break when Ray Lavender (My Girl Gotta Girlfriend) of KonLive (Konvict/Geffen) signed him to Konvict/Laray last year. He then left his hometown, and headed to ATL where he began his study under Ray Lavender and the rest of the Konvict family.
The Konvict family has been a great fit for him. He has found that this team attaches the same value to hard work that he does. It is this parallel view on success and what it takes to achieve it that is allowing him to gel nicely with his newfound family. Though the road has not been easy, his impeccable work ethic has led him right to where he needed to be and will soon prove that he is a force to be reckoned with. DL2 DAYLYRIC's feature on Ray Lavender's Doying Doying Remix which also features Akon is proof that he belongs. This sexy new addition to the music industry is sure to receive an ardent welcome from the fans.
Some may see him as a cocky pretty boy, but don’t let the smooth taste fool you. This street-wise young man may not run towards trouble, but he certainly won’t run from it either. He has had to fight and struggle all his life, so it’s obstacles are nothing new to him. He’s always been the underdog, but he always managed to work his way up to the top. DL2 DAYLYRIC doesn’t believe in making excuses for anything in life. His philosophy is “get it done”...that’s it. When people tell him he can’t do something, he just uses that negativity as fuel and pushes that much harder to prove them wrong.
His dedication does not end with music. He also has a strong passion for charity. He has founded the ‘Baby Dae Charitable Giving Program’, a non-profit organization geared toward providing equipment and assistance to families of special-needs children who so dearly need the help. DL2 DAYLYRIC is more than just an artist. He also wants to be responsible to his community, and change people’s lives for the better. He wants to raise awareness for disabled children and the struggles that their families have to go through, and this is one area DL2 DAYLYRIC knows about first hand.
