About Me

One of Australia's Best Urban/Reggae Mixer. 'DJ-Red' started his early ventures into 'Reggae & Urban Music in 1991, at The Tunnel Nightclub on the Gold Coast, known as the bedroom today; with other DJ's such as DJ-Joe-T (from West Africa), DJ Lane (from N.Z) at Club Survival The three foundations of grooving reggae & urban music in the Southeast.

Working closely with the promoters of Lucky Dube & The Slave, Inner circle, Big mountain,Ub40,Chaka Demus & Pliers & Shaggy to promote their tours in Southeast Queensland & DJing @ their after partys on the Gold Coast and Brisbane venues.

With the opportunity to met a lot of the artists that DJ-Red has mixed over these years; he has became one of the best Reggae/Urban music DJs in Australia for he's timing, understanding of music selection & Atmosphere with his crowds & da fans.

Townsville as his base now, DJ-Red has DJ @ Reggae Sunspash Festivals (Gold Coast "96" "98"), Reggaetown Festivals (Cairns "2006" "2007" "2008") Groovin In The Moo Festival (2009), Hilltop Hoods, De La Soul, The Nextmen and Horrorshow. Also co-hosted & mixed with DJ Nino Brown, also co-hosted R’n’B Superclub with DJ’s G-Wizard, Def Rock, Kevin Watt & MC’s Rudeboy, mixing the flavor’s of R&B, Hip Hop & Urban-reggae music like no one can, but "DJ-Red"
