Marc Antomattei (,マーク・アントマテイ) better known as DJ Antomattei of Tokyo (DJ アントマテイ　オブ　東京), is a professional disc jockey from Clarksville, Tennessee USA (クラークスビル市 テネシー州) who is based in Yokohama and Tokyo, Japan. He is the nephew of “Augie” Antomattei, trumpeter for the 1977 Puerto Rico All Stars (プエルトリコ オールスターズ) a legendary salsa jazz band that was the Puerto Rico (プエルトリコ) alternative to the acclaimed New York based Fania All Stars. DJ Antomattei of Tokyo plays many eclectic styles of music including house, hip hop, acid jazz, nu-jazz, disco, soul, salsa, and Japanese pop among other styles.

DJ Antomattei officially began his career in 2005 at the young age of 22 in Tokyo, Japan, a city with a population of about 12 million people. He first became fascinated with DJs and club music in 2001 after listening to Tony Humphries LP, United DJs of America | Volume 18 Presented by Mixer. "I never had knowledge about house before so it is something new for me in its entirety. This was some of the funkiest, deepest, most soulful, and smoothest sounding material I have ever heard up to this point in my life." DJ Antomattei credits DJs Tony Humphries and Dimitri from Paris as his inspirations.

The artist name itself Antomattei of Tokyo is an open homage to DJ Dimitri from Paris. Although Antomattei clearly is not of Japanese decent, he uses the name to mark where he had received his start in everything he does now as a DJ and as an entertainer. Aside from DJing Marc Antomattei is also a model, fashionista, graphic designer, writer, and actor.
