About Me

Hello World, My name is Devonne Trent, but I'm known to the world as D.Riddle. I was born in Richmond, Va, in 1984. At the age of 12, I moved to North Carolina, and a year later to Farmville, Va, Where I would Graduate High School. I was in about the 9th grade when I first started writing poetry. It started off as just a way for me to vent about all the things that pissed me off. One day I came across some instrumentals, and I put one of my poems to the beat, the rest was history. I dropped my first mix tape in 2007 called Undiscovered Jewelz. I sold about 3,000 copies out the trunk of my car, and then I got into a little trouble, and had to fall back. Over the years my style has changed and my craft has gotten better. I used to be focused on trying to land a big record deal, but after getting so close to my dream and not making it, I kind of fell back and started focusing on real life. After a couple of years I've decided to come back and give this music one more shot. I've started my own label called One Shot Records, and I have a couple artist coming soon. I have finally put my own studio in the crib and I'm going in! Please stay tuned and be on the look out for new hot fire from your boy. Peace.
