Conyak White was born in the culture rich melting pot Harlem and migrated to the Bronx where she was raised by her Mother and Grandmother who instilled a strong Church background during her formative years .. This was the catalyst for her love of music, listening to the rich sounds of the Church. One of her fondest memories was the time she sat up and paid the most attention in Church was when the choir was singing, and the musicians were hitting those heavenly notes and she felt the music flow and the power of melody. Conyak says that having 2 strong female role models, “The Best two parent in the world", in addition to her younger sister who constantly encouraged her musical growth thus far.
Her other musical influences stemmed from watching her mother improvising on musical instruments making beats by banging on anything, and listening to her soulful voice fill up the house while Conyak was growing up. At a tender age, Conyak played various instruments all through her years in school, which influenced her amazing production skills today. Conyak played instruments such as the trumpet, the sax, drums and piano, this amount of talent enhanced her love of music and the magical way a song could come together with certain key elements. Conyak White and I quote” I was nice as hell in my band days, a couple of my band mates got mad at my hand on skills a woman could bring to the predominately-male dominated band. Once she finished High School, she knew wanted to do with her life. Conyak wanted to experience the band feel in holistic form larger than there confines of a band, she wanted to play all the Instruments by herself. "Don't call her selfish, it’s what she wanted to tackle the use of all musical l instruments to create musical master pieces with unique flair and amazing vibes "Conyak wanted to be the orchestra and the conductor that's when the decision was made to become a "MUSICAL PRODUCER".
Conyak attended an engineering school, learned a various technical aspects of the field. Thne struggles of being a young up and coming producer “Party & Bullshit” took its toll, which made Conyak lose focus for a while. As time passed she just started living in the moment, and doing the regular day to day that paid the bills. Then her Brother introduced her to Fruity loops and that was the awakening, she needed to refocus her musical talents in the studio by producing music that spoke to the Masses.
2006 is when Conyak decided she needed to get her s*** together, and thought to herself “I must be freaking stupid!" God blessed me with a gift I had all my life, and I am supposed to be sharing my blessing of music with the world. "So Hear I AM" Conyak White Is currently working on various projects and building herself as a force to be reckoned with in an area of the music industry that is male dominated, her gender will not stop her drive to create the next great Hook. Lookout Conyak White is ready for prime time and she is taking no prisoners.
