2009 RAP AND HIP-HOP CIVIL WAR
Okay, I guess we can all agree that rap/hip hop is nothing like what it was ten years ago. I understand times change, and so does culture. I grew up listening to Biggie and Pac, when everything was a simple beat and nasty lyrics that hit truth. You can listen to something like that in Jockin Jay-Z, you know, a kick, snare, and lyrics. And everything was East vs. West. Nobody on the east liked west s*** and vise versa. Then EM came along, and by that time I was able to actually understand lyrics…
