About Me

Nu Revolution Entertainment LLC Music Producer & Engineer, Certified was born in Baltimore, MD. He developed a passion for music as early as grade school. Certified started out as a singer/songwriter. In 2003, he began making Hip-Hop mixtapes and also began producing/engineering for Baltimore artist, Abraham "Brams" Pleah. During studio sessions, Certified developed a passion for audio engineering and decided to study music composition and technology at Towson University. He graduated in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Electronic Media/Audio Production.

In 2007, Certified began making beats thanks to DJ ScotteeLP and James "BKS" Edjouma (G-Production/Universal SRC). Both have mentored and helped develop Certified's style for his original compositions and his skills as a producer. After graduation, Certified began engineering sessions in the Washington D.C. metro area.
