I am Bukonla Bello. Bukonla (boo-cone-la) is Nigerian and means beautiful. My parents are from Nigeria, but I was born in Houston, Texas like one of my idols Beyonce Knowles. We later moved to Brooklyn, New York where I am currently residing.In the industry I see myself doing a lot of different jobs. I am simultaneously a recording artist. The discipline used in modeling and music is one of the same. My management and I work closely and diligently in crafting my arts into super stardom. I go to sleep thinking about this; I dream about this and wake up still thinking about this. I even cry at times, singing to myself “Just Gotta Make It” by Trey Songs, “Looking at you day after day I know I just gotta make it”. Both Beyonce Knowles and Tyra Banks are staple role models in my life. While Beyonce exudes will power, stamina and can entertain crowds, Tyra, an ultra entrepreneur graces the runways and runs a production company that has several shows which she stars in. I am pleased to have them as role models and I hope to exceed them one day.
