BIO Born in South Bend, Indiana. Dexter "A.R.Weezy" Leonard , age 22. has been through alot of trials and tribulations just as an minority growning up these days. from basketball dreams to rapping & producing. He found his way thru music to express himself and to try to guide the generation listing to him to let them know that there aren't many ways out the hood but you can't give up or give in to the statistics. Since age 17 he has discovered he has music in him while watching his piers around him mess up there lives. So the young and talented artist began to take his music more seriously. In 2004 he droped out of school and stared learning how to use fruity loops 3 and rapping wit a 6 guys (Weezy Da Bomb,Duke Da Hazard,C-Smooth & tha Solo Hittaz. But back then they were name (Da Hate Me Now Gang) A year later he moved to Indianapolis In, where he stayed with his mother while workin a full time job and began to start his career again full time producing. After a few months and a few major moves he moved to Indianapolis. He got back to working and laid off the music and as things were looking good as far as money wise and materal things. He had his own apatment that he pair up with his best friend (Maurice Bird),car, i mean everything. So he began to persue the music thing again. This time he was tired of hearing people rappin to others instrumentals and started giving out his own beats free. While developing his production skills, he really never had time cuz he work 3rd shift a a factory named (St. Gobain). He was making money but had no life. After losing his job and getting his car stolen on tha same day he decided to leave and go to bloomington In where he knew a bunch of college IU students. So he crashed out there for a few months. Left their went back to South Bend In, and Decided he did not wanna be back there. Now down in ATL and full grown he knew it was time to make it happend. He suprised everyone whit his own style of producing and rapping. With southern like drums crazy snares and wierd high pitched sounds, just all out different kinda swag, and a soulja boy-like outlook on pushing his music. He begans to hit the beats. Comes up wit a really suscessful beat called (Wine Me Up) witch had a soulja boy sample in it. made a few connections and lace a track with one of soulja boys new artist named (J-Bar From S.O.D Money Gang) And His internet fame went sky high while repping (S.O.D Money Gang) He has had his first child (Dexter Leonard Jr.)and began to grow as a father and is really enjoy it. working being a dad rappin and still producing his and others tracks. he made a name for himself with the beats but surpised everyone with his flow. People from young to old enjoy listing to him and love his swagger.he also has a vision to be something ( BIG) and wont let anything stop him.
