AMAYSS stands for A Mentally Abstract Yet Simple Style also known as Uneek Izum, has done songs with Artists from all boroughs. Born in The Big Apple, New York, NY, AMAYSS was raised in WASHINGTON HEIGHTS/INWOOD on DYCKMAN ST after living on E183rd Marion Avenue in the Bronx. Dyckman is a monumental area where many talented people reside. Performing original music opened paths and vast possibilities. Radio Stations included Kevin KEITH AND THE DIRTY DOZEN, FREEDOM OF SPEECH, and BOBBITO along with some Live freestyle radio shows. "TIME FOR SOME ACTION VIDEO SHOW" was another learning experience Co- Hosting for a Brooklyn based underground Hip-Hop R&B show. Some legendary places were torn like UPTOWN COMEDY CLUB (UNCLE SAM), "LYRICIST LOUNGE" "CLUB 2000" (Wining 1st Place meant working with (D.I.T.C) LORD FINESSE and AKINYELE on various unreleased projects), "HARAMBE CLUB" "SOUL KITCHEN" "THE BOODA LOUNGE". As an individual Artist teaming up with various Artists, there was a line up of known/unknown talent that laced tracks creating classics. The first Vinyl "Ill Rhyme Skillz" was recorded under UNEEK-IZUM in 1994, THE DYSFUNKSHUNAL FAMILEE- (CRAZY DJ. BAZARRO, D- ROCK, BRAIN DEAD, DIVERSE, MIGRANE, DJ PRIMETIME and FINSTABUNDY) of ARMAGEDOM RECORDS, was, and still is considered classic to true underground hip-hop listeners. You can find the compilation single on EBay today!!! Recording was one aspect, and traveling on a Mini-Tour to Atlanta-FREAKNIK with 5 FEET (BLACK MOON) was another, and meant hard work and hustle. The tour included Artists such as WU-TANG CLAN, BUSTA RHYMES, and RAMPAGE just to name a few. The Dysfunkshunal Familee was later featured in GAVIN MAGAZINE and RAPSHEET for the timeless sound behind the music. Tunda and Tahaqa THE ALEEMS, long time family friends, linked GRYM REAPER (GRAVE DIGGAZ) R.I.P., who produced and laced tracks for the project OMEGA(UNIVERSAL SOLDIERS) which also linked OMEN-(FLATLINERZ) and PRINCE PALL who supplied heat on various productions. Recordings were completed in Long Island (along with EDDIE BERKELEY (GOLD FINGAZ), PLANET, and UNIQUE STUDIOS. As an Executive for PLASMA RECORDS, visiting D&D and QUAD STUDIOS was a weekly routine. Production/Engineering projects quickly became a new added interest while completing a B.S degree in Computer Information Science @ Mercy College. With more knowledge under the belt, THE FEDERATION KLICK, a family affair, consitst of SWAZ (The Myth In The Flesh), MIC BURNA/G-STAR, and AMAYSS. Releasing Hot Fire on every track, each adds their own flavor. Swaz brings his life stories to light with his confident flow and word play that is undisputed. Mic Burna spits metaphors that should be quoted as best verse of the month, every month. And AMAYSS has a unique, catchy abstract flow with punch lines thatíll have you rewinding, over and over again. It's simply Amassing! FEDERATION ENTERTAINMENT will soon hold many awards for greatness in the near future. A-TEAM ENTERTAINMENT (C.E.O. KISTA) teamed up with FK to make one solid unit in the Heights. DONME ENT, was founded by AMAYSS and stands for Doing Me(Do N Me). While Making it happen, MAKE IT HAPPEN is not only a slogan for the Company, but a motto for the Jake of All Trades. You can expect to see Mix-tapes/DVD ís (Vol. 1.2.3), along with Graphics, Fliers etc stamped with the name. Look out for Books, Beats and Clothing in upcoming projects under the same name and songs with H-MOBB, DJ BUG, BONE,MOE BREEZE,HOOD.
